ER Events Primary Programme

ER Events believe in starting careers education from a young age to encourage our young people to become aware of the careers around them and to start thinking about the different jobs available to them - partly so they have a wider understanding of the world around them and partly to become familiar with the vast array of career options that are on offer.

As many students have to select their GCSE options from Year 8, starting their careers education from years 5 & 6 is an obvious thing to do, plus in line with govermennt citizenship policy for KS2 learners.

The Department of Education Citizenship Curriculum, 2015 states:

"KS2....pupils should be taught about the range of jobs carried out by people they know, and to understand how they can develop skills to make their own contribution in the future."

We have a range of events to encourage young learners to explore different careers and to take part in work-based fun workshops.  We tailor our workshops to suit your requirements.   We are a complete service so we provide all the resources and facilitators necessary for the workshops.
